.NET Architect for short term engagement
Posted: 18 Aug 08 3:04 PM

Hello,

I am looking for a great .NET Architect for a limited (1-2 week engagement) only for Architecting a solution we have for a customer of ours. We would love it if someone from the SoCal area (or elsewhere) can either help us, or recommend us good .NET Architects who are primarily dealing with short term guidance type of engagement models. Here is some background:

We want to develop a system that allows us to filter data and distribute data to various customers using various delivery mechanisms (i.e. HTTP POST, Web Service, FTP) and delivery formats (for e.g. CSV, XML etc). This data currently resides in SQL Server 2005 DB over multiple tables. The filtering rules will be provided by a customer and can be generic rules that can be applied globally over customers or can be very customer specific. We want to have a functionality similar to that of Outlook where we defined Email Rules etc. We would like to have Standard Rules that can be configured and custom rules that can be added as plug-ins dynamically.

We also want to translate the filtered data into a format and structure expected by the customer (again defined by transformation rules) and then depending on the frequency of delivery, deliver the data to the customer using the customer’s preferred method of delivery.

In case data does not reach the customer, or if the customer flags the data as bad data, we need to have a failure mitigation system as well.

Think of this app as an app developed using the BizTalk server. We however, do not have the budget to buy a BizTalk server so we will have to come up with a custom solution that solves most of the problems (it is OK if it is not 100% dynamic).

If you or someone you know is interested, please do not hesitate to contact me at 816 309 2109 or email me at anup@hypertrends.com. I look forward to speaking with you!

Thank You
